Key ingredients:
30% protease enzymes: This is a proprietary ingredient exclusive to GlyMed Plus. Derived from the mucor miehei mushroom, it mimics the Cathepsin-D enzyme found naturally in our skin, which assists in normal shedding of dead skin cells. It will detach desmosomes one at a time to increase exfoliation.
Citric acid: Acts like an antioxidant and assists in regeneration of skin tissue, as well as slowing down the aging process.
Hyaluronic acid: Acid: Increases water content and helps
assist against transepidermal water loss. It can hold up to
1000 times its weight in water.
Ascorbyl Glucoside: Acts as a co-enzyme for enzymes
involved in collagen synthesis and inhibiting the
synthesis of melanin. Contains high antioxidant activity.
